In each generation, the world needs educators and faith leaders who can speak with clarity, integrity and respect about people who are different from themselves. As a Christian centre we seek to model the concern for truth that God requires. This affects academic life as much as other aspects of society. In academic study there is no presumption of agreement, only the commitment to go where the evidence leads without compromise or hostility. In all this we want to reflect the grace and truthfulness that Jesus represents (John 1:14). 1

We value people as well as ideas, as expressed in these values:

  • Academic excellence
  • Building respect between Muslims and Christians
  • Truth-seeking and truth-speaking in both our studies and relationships
  • Hospitality as the context for joint study

  1. John 1:14 - “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.”
