Over the last thirty years Tim Green has enjoyed friendships with many Muslims and with Christians of a Muslim background. His professional work is in adult Christian education (including 17 years in Pakistan and Jordan); his academic background is in Natural Sciences, Religious Studies and Islamic Societies and Cultures.

His SOAS PhD, almost completed, is on issues of identity for Christians of a Muslim background in Pakistan. His publications include academic papers on convert identity and on Christian converts from Islam in Britain, as well as educational courses for Christians.
